Language lessons that feel like a conversation.

Swedish for expats in Sweden. Hebrew, English, and Spanish for curious learners everywhere.

I teach four languages — and I've lived inside all of them.

Swedish

For expats building a life in Sweden.

Moving to Sweden is exciting and disorienting in equal measure. I help expats get past the stiff, textbook Swedish and into the language people actually use at work, at the grocery store, and at fika. We go at your pace, in the contexts that matter to you.

Hebrew

Modern, living Hebrew — not just the prayer book.

Hebrew is a language that connects ancient roots to a vibrant modern culture. Whether you're preparing for a trip to Israel, reconnecting with family heritage, or just fascinated by the language, I'll get you speaking and reading sooner than you expect.

English

Fluency, confidence, and real-world communication.

English is everywhere — but speaking it naturally is another thing entirely. I work with non-native speakers who want to move beyond correct-but-stiff English into something that feels genuine. Focus on conversation, tone, and the idioms that actually land.

Spanish

The language of half a billion conversations.

Spanish is one of the most rewarding languages to pick up — and one of the most satisfying to speak fluently. I teach Spanish for real life: travel, culture, work, and connection. We start speaking from day one.

My method: language as lived material.

I'm not a drill instructor. I'm more like a guide who's walked the same roads.

We talk, a lot.

Most of my sessions are conversation-first. Grammar comes in when it's useful, not on a fixed schedule. You'll be surprised how quickly things stick when they come up naturally.

Context over rules.

Language lives in situations. We work from the real things you need — emails at work, conversations with neighbours, understanding a film. The rules follow from the patterns you start to notice.

No shame, no rush.

Making mistakes is part of learning. I've made plenty of my own. The goal is progress, not perfection — and lessons that you actually look forward to.

About Tom

I'm Tom Greschler — a language tutor, musician, and permanent work-in-progress based in Sweden. I came to teaching through a side door: years of living and working in different languages, and a DIY musician's habit of figuring things out by doing them.

I've spent serious time with Swedish, Hebrew, English, and Spanish — not just studying them but using them, stumbling through them, and eventually finding my footing. That experience shapes how I teach. I know where the hard parts are because I've been stuck there too.

Lessons are one-on-one, online. I work with adults at all levels, from complete beginners to people who just need a push past the plateau.
